Well it has been forever since I have written… been far more into color… and learning. The fall started with taking a class in Abstract Painting ( which I kind of got kicked out of..I did complete all the projects though!) Now I am in a portrait class. I really have nothing to say, but thought I would share the progress of learning.

Then we were to practice using a photo of a person– this is much harder bacause all the decisions about rendering have not been made.

Its ok but doesnt look like the model… so I tried to recapture the likeness
Scraped down and will have to start over…
A tiny bit off and the whole face changes….
Portraiture is … well a lesson in meditation…
